Guide Robotics provides indoor positioning system (IPS) based navigation and robot autonomy technology to warehouse logistics, construction, and security markets. Their advanced navigation system for forklifts, GuideNS™, optimizes warehouse logistics by improving productivity, safety, and efficiency with real-time data and smart analytics. This system enhances operations by reducing idle time, improving route efficiency, ensuring safer forklift movement, and identifying areas for cost optimization through smart analytics. The company was founded in December 2020 as the first SRI International spin-off venture outside the U.S., licensing significant IP and source code related to Visual-Inertial SLAM technology. This technology, developed and field-tested by SRI for over 10 years with extensive U.S. government funding, provides a substantial advantage.
